Across Victoria, hundreds of people are coming together to collect data about our waterways—everything from water quality tests and habitat conditions to photos and water bug surveys.
By using this platform, you can explore and download this information, while gaining easy access to meaningful insights.
Join us in unlocking the story of our waterways.

Waterways have a range of unique naming conventions, and parts of rivers may carry multiple names, both official and local.
To find waterways and monitoring sites with diverse names, you can:

  • Search for Location below eg: "Ballarat" or "Dandenong", "3551" or "Use My Location"
  • Search for a Waterway or Site below eg: "Murray River", "Lake Colac", "Mitta Mitta" or "Winton Frog Pond"
