Diary photos

Mouth of drain shown, common reeds mainly damaged (washed away) in floods several mon ths ago. Convolvulus sepium rampantly growing in new reeds.
Skink by drain - might be a Southern Water Skink. Slightly larger than common pale-flecked garden skinks seen nearby in grass and leaf litter.
Ran out of record book. Used scrap paper in the field
Calystegia sepium, a cosmopolitan bindweed (not the exotic species). Flowers pale pink or white.
