CO_DRY010 Barwon River Catchment

Tuesday 30th April 2013 13:45pm Approved
Notes
We found the remains of what looked like a wattle bird in the long reeds at the water's edge. Lots of feathers but no body. A black cat has been sighted at this site on a previous visit. It ran to the house next door on that occasion.

Habitat

This site is not a stream. It is a water retarding basin in an urban setting. The water in the middle of the pond is heavily surrounded by lush water plants. There is an "island" with a gum tree on it in the middle of the pond.
