Habitat

Good in stream habitats of pools, riffles and bends. At present at low levels although flowing steday. Area surrounded by rural residentails and grazing- not fenced from stock. Creek is used for stock and domestic further downstream. Banks are poorly vegetated with few native grasses and completely cleared of overstorey and understorey. Large native plantings along verege on opposite bank.
