Looking to the East from the Bridge:-
Creek is completely dry.
There is a lot of erosion on both sides.
There are no fences on either side. Livestock have access to the creek.
There are remains of old pole & wire netting fence in the middle of the creek bed.
There is only a small amount of bank & in-stream vegetation. In-stream cover only consists of a few gum trees here & there, mainly further downstream. A few dead trees scattered around.
Verge vegetation is none existent there is open farmland on both sides.
It is unusually quiet with no sight or sound of any wildlife or livestock not even the sound of farm dogs barking. (It was a very hot day yesterday maybe all the animals are still recovering.) There is a bit of gorse growing on the North East side bank near bridge.
Looking to the West from the Bridge:-
More erosion on both sides of the creek.
In-stream vegetation is a lot thicker this side of the bridge mainly consisting of rushes. There are a few healthy looking gum trees not far from the bridge providing a little bit of in- stream cover but that is about it.
Verge vegetation consists of open farmland which appears to be not as grazed as much as the east side of the bridge.
